Our first donkey was a Standard. It was a Christmas surprise for Cathy. He is registered as Sweet Lord Nestor. He became lonely and so along came Sweet Lady Hestor for Valentine’s Day. The pair have given us some fine quality jacks and jennys. We added Gabriella to our Standard family a few years ago just so Nestor didn’t get so lonely when Hestor was mothering his children. Once we saw how adorable the baby donkeys were we thought it would be so great if they stayed that small. Along came the miniature donkeys. There is Star War a 31 1/2 " brown jack and Sweet Sara a 32" brown/black jenny.  Each year they give us a wonderful brown/black baby, between 20-22" tall  with a white star on its forehead like their daddy's.  They are every bit as loving and cute as their larger counterparts.  Our donkeys are registered and have the confirmation and color to make excellent show ring prospects or just family pets.  Many people also find them useful as companions and guard animals.
